So this time, in addition to brioche rolls (which I still didn't form the "tete" well) - I made brioche cinnamon rolls.
I didn't intentionally plan for the centers of the rolls to pop up like that... but I LIKE IT!
And last but not least, (I really should start "collaging" my photos again), the misshapen brioche rols. This time I brushed the tops with butter rather than egg wash like before, so it had less of a sheen to it.
