the "flag" cake

From the complex to the simple... flag cakes pop up to celebrate July 4th.
So, I made my own this year.
Blueberries, Raspberries, and Strawberries.

Just a simple white cake, split and filled with strawberries and buttercream, then decorated on top to be our nation's flag.

The amazing recipe of the Vanilla Bean Buttercream I used: the Easy Vanilla Bean Buttercream recipe from Brown Eyed Baker. SOOOO good.
